Today is the day when Almost Fr Carl Reid gets ordained

I am all dressed, nearly ready to leave.  Finishing up my coffee, basking in the joyful expectation of a sublime celebration today and tomorrow.  It’s been a long time coming and there were days I had trouble believing it would come to pass, but now that it is happening,  was it ever worth everything we went through to get to this state.

Pictures later!

I follow your blog and am very excited about the growth of the
ordinariates. I am a father of three kids (9 to 15 years of age), and
we are “Extraordinary Form” Catholics. Many of us attending the
Tridentine Mass feel a special kinship with our Anglican Usage
brothers and sisters, so we rejoice in the blessings flowing your way.

Enjoy the next 2 days with Father Reid!!!

Isn’t it exciting!? I certainly am excited, even if I’m over here in Los Angeles.
