Safe at home in Ottawa

To my readers who are hearing the horrific news from Ottawa, a message to let you know I am home and safe.

However, the very halls were the shootings took place are where I work when I’m on Parliament Hill, so I thank God I was not there today.

This could have been a bloodbath, because the caucuses of the two main political parties meet in rooms on either side of the Hall of Honor, that you will see in news footage.

Deo gratia! I pray that all of the other members of your community of faith also are safe.

This could well be the start of a political bloodbath, too.

There will be some idiot who will say: “He’s not evil, he was just misunderstood!” And then deny any links to Islam, etc. “Oh, no, Islam is a religion of peace! If anything, Christianity should be blamed, what with its homophobia and insensitivity!”

        Yes, probably.

But those who hold such beliefs need to open their eyes. The Islamist extremists whom they defend have no problem with homosexuality. They behead anybody determined to be homosexual, thus ridding their society of the “problem.” The true Christian recognizes that homosexual individuals typically are NOT culpable for the injury that caused their condition and that it will take a lot of divine healing, which usually comes through the ministry of people of true Christian faith, to overcome it.

This is the second time, right? There was an earlier shooting last Monday.
I wonder what Michael Coren’s reactions are. I love that guy.
